Vacation Nice

There are numerous vacation spots that offer white sandy beaches, tropical weather and fun in the sun. I have always wanted to take a Mediterranean cruise for 12 days. One of the places that I would like to go back to is Nice, France.  Nice was once the exclusive getaway for the rich and famous. Celebrities would rent villas for the entire summer and throw lavish parties. Nice was also known for its topless beaches. Nice is still a nice place to visit. Its cobblestone roads, shopping and french restaurants are a respite away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Vacation in Texas

Texas is one of the largest states in the United States, second only to Alaska. Texas has 268,580.82 square miles. Alaska has 663,267.26. We do not have a shortage of places to pack up and head to for a time of fun and relaxation.

My favorite place to visit in Texas is San Antonio. There is so much to see and do in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. It offers the Riverwalk in downtown, the Alamo for history buffs, and Fiesta Texas theme park for roller coaster freaks like me. Just a short drive from San Antonio is quaint little town called Boerne that offers a plethora of antique shops. Strolling along the streets of Boerne you can find homecooked-style restaurants, antique shops, gifts shops, beautiful gardens and much more. The local bars are a great place to get your boots on the floor for some line dancing and the Cotton-eyed Joe.

Vacation Spots

Hi, my name is Glenda Betton. I work a minimum of 50 hours a week, attend school two nights a week, contribute time and energy to non-profit organizations, and I am a wife and mother. Often I find catch myself daydreaming about vacation spots that I want to visit. Some are exotic, others are just off the beaten path, while some are local spots that I have not appreciated because of work and activities. I want to share with you a few of my daydreams.... 

This picturesque scenery of the calm waters of a lake inviting you to admire its beauty and stillness is misleading. This is actually Lone Star College - Cy Fair, one of the reasons I need to escape!
